Abstract

With increasing technological advancement, the business world is becoming more and more complex and so is the nature of the industrial projects. Industrial projects and their management are vital activities for most businesses. The success of project implementation is importantfor the business to grow and for the economy as well. The present study deals with the literature about managing complex projects. It throws light on the important factors of complex projects and brings out some analogies with the complexity science in managing the complex projects. The paper also suggests the study in the area of FASTdiagramming in solving the complex projects and relates it with complexity science. The paper uses the technique of FAST diagramming for making a possible attemptin reducing the complexity of projects.
