Abstract
According to manufacturing industry, machines high accessibility and reliability is the key component to make organizations focused in business rivalry. With the expanded machine utilization, the machine reliability quality and execution could lead to failure and result in dissatisfaction. So Need of maintenance is high in reducing the system failure rate In this paper, Markov Model for Preventive Maintenance is used to predict the system's probabilities for its availability, down for its maintenance, down due to failure and also ensure the reduction in the need of corrective maintenance by reducing the failure rate and increasing the availability of the machine.
