Abstract
Production planning and scheduling based on intelligent solution of expert systems (ESs) are becoming more and more widespread. This paper presents the literature review of different methods used in expert system in the field of production planning and scheduling. This paper identifies the application of ESs in the field of production planning and scheduling. Further, application of ESs by different authors in the field of production planning and scheduling are presented.
