Abstract
Enterprises and associations attempt to ensure that the items launched or marketed by them should be well prepared to fulfil the buyers need. Total quality management is a depiction of the way of life, attitude and organization of a company that endeavors to provide customers with items and services that fulfil their requirements. It is a method by which management and employees can become involved in the continuous improvement of the production of goods and services. The current work focusses on a bearing industry. During the assembly of Poly-amide cage ball bearings, orientation of cage gets reversed resulting in wrong side greasing and seal fitment thereby prone to potential customer complaints. The issue causes considerable reduction in efficiency and business losses. In the current work wrong orientation of cage fitment in Deep Groove Ball Bearing using basic QC Tool – Cause and Effect Analysis is identified and control measures are suggested.
